It shares a paper, not a method
Physics and Chemistry reward practice on numericals. Biology rewards understanding a process and being able to draw it. The same study routine does not work for all three.

Physics fine, Chemistry fine — and the marks go missing in Biology. It is the most common Class 10 pattern there is, and it is fixable. Taught online, for CBSE Board students across India and other countries, in Hindi and English.

Biology sits inside Science — so it gets taught last, and revised least.
Diagrams quietly decide the marks
Life Processes and Reproduction are diagram-heavy. An unlabelled or half-remembered diagram loses marks even when the student understood the chapter.
Class 11 is watching
A student who leaves Class 10 believing they are "not a Biology person" will either avoid the subject in Class 11 or start it already convinced they cannot do it.

Syllabus · Class 10 Biology
- Life Processes — ‘Living Being’. Basic concept of nutrition, respiration, transport and excretion in plants and animals.
- Control and Co-ordination — tropic movements in plants; introduction of plant hormones; control and co-ordination in animals: the nervous system; voluntary, involuntary and reflex action; chemical co-ordination: animal hormones.
- Reproduction — reproduction in animals and plants (asexual and sexual); reproductive health — need and methods of family planning; safe sex vs HIV/AIDS; child bearing and women's health.
- Heredity — Mendel's contribution, laws for inheritance of traits; sex determination, a brief introduction.
- Our Environment — eco-system, environmental problems, ozone depletion, waste production and their solutions; biodegradable and non-biodegradable substances.
